A Morning at the Book Club Bar NYC

While I was in New York City this past weekend, I was able to stop at a bucket list place for me, which is the Bookclub Bar located in the East Village. This is a bookstore that is also a coffee shop and also a bar, which in my opinion is stellar multitasking.

The ambiance is amazing and can really fit into any type of day. I know this because I went back for a second time, and one day was rainy while the other was sunny and warm. During the rainy day, I decided to grab a coffee and read my new romance guilty pleasure, the Windy City Series written by Liz Tomforde. It was so relaxing inside, with a ton of seating options. People came and went as they pleased, but there was so much genuine connection in the environment.

On the sunny day, I grabbed a seat outside with a friend, and I sipped on an Aperol spritz, which is a must when the sun is out. I got to people watch on the streets of NYC while also enjoying time reading and catching up with a friend.

I highly recommend checking this place out if you have a passion for sitting and reading while others are quietly doing the same.

Until next chapter,
SBB
